For my project “Memory of Generations,” I intentionally captured this thought-provoking photo. It’s a powerful image of a brave young girl who standing in front of Mussolini’s square coliseum, a haunting monument to fascism. I believe this topic is profoundly significant, and I’m determined to ensure people remember. The stark contrast between the girl and the bloody cross serves as a reminder of the struggle against oppressive ideologies throughout history. Through this photo, I hope to inspire reflection on the lasting impact of such dark chapters and the importance of standing up against them, so we can forge a future grounded in compassion and justice.
