PROJECT
“UKRAINIAN ROOTS” 

In this project, I delve into the experiences of Ukrainian refugees who have been uprooted from their homeland and dispersed across different countries. Through my lens, I aim to capture the resilience, strength, and longing for home that defines their journeys.

Like a tree without roots, these individuals and families have been forced to adapt to new environments, cultures, and languages. Each photograph becomes a visual testament to their stories of displacement, resilience, and the indomitable spirit that keeps their Ukrainian heritage alive.

Through this project, I aim to highlight the struggles, hopes, and dreams of those who carry their Ukrainian roots with them. By honoring their stories, we recognize the universal human desire for belonging and the resilience that stems from our cultural heritage.
